I have always been fond of subscription services (whether it be Birchbox, Ipsy, Naturebox… the list could go on forever), so here I am with another unboxing for you all!
I decided to try out Rocksbox, which is a jewelry rental service that sends you 3 pieces to try out for however long you want. For $20 a box you can wear these pieces as often as you want and then decide if you want to keep them or send them back. They give you a discount on the ones you keep (which you do have to pay for) and you also get a $10 credit to spend every month!
My box came with a necklace, a pair of earrings, and a ring.
My favorite piece was the necklace, which was the “Pavé Horseshoe Necklace” in gold by Sophie Harper. This piece retails for $48 but you can buy it from Rocksbox for $38. It is so pretty and simple, which I love, and can go with any outfit. I am very tempted to buy it (and in all likelihood will), but I already have a horseshoe-type necklace (albeit in silver) so I am a little hesitant.
The next piece I received was the “Aida Cuff Ring” by Gorjana. This retails for $38 but can be bought from Rocksbox for $30. I do think this ring is very delicate and a nice accessory, but I’m not sure the price is really worth it. I have found myself wearing it almost every day though so I am enjoying the opportunity to try it out.
The last item I got is unfortunately my least favorite. These “Savannah Earrings” by Perry Street retail for $60 and can be purchased from Rocksbox for $48. Here is the thing, these earrings are not ugly, per say. They are just not my style and are a bit heavy. I don’t like the dangly “wood-esque” part. Without that I would have really enjoyed the earrings. I will not be keeping these.
If you’re interested in trying out Rocksbox, the first 3 people to use the code “ADIBFF2” get their first month free! You start off with a survey about your jewelry preferences and then you can make a wishlist of pieces you want to try. You usually get one of them in every box you receive!
Overall I really enjoy this subscription and will definitely be trying out another box. What do you think about the pieces I recieved? Should I buy the necklace, or the ring?
This product was purchased on my own, all opinions are my own.
Cute pieces! I really love the necklace and the ring as well! If you already have a similar necklace, maybe pass and wait to see what the next box has to offer, just my thoughts 🙂
