Spring has sprung! You wouldn’t know it, if you live in New England (it literally just snowed Monday), but it is finally Spring and I couldn’t be more excited. I feel like there are so many things I want to accomplish this season, both in life in general and with my blog and my career. Here’s what I have decided to focus on for my Spring bucket list.
¤ Spring clean the blog
Aside from the usual spring cleaning (my closet, my makeup collection, the fridge, etc.), I want to clean out my blog and make it more focused on beauty and fashion. As much as I want to write about everything, I can’t. It get’s too complicated and my blog feels very unfocused. I’m hoping to reorganize my blog and restructure it soon (and maybe get a new layout while I’m at it).
¤ Plant an herb garden
So I have recently come to the realization that cooking with fresh herbs makes any dish taste a million times better (seriously). I saw a sneak peek into the FabFitFun box (stay tuned for my review later this month) this season and it should have an herb garden, which I am so excited for. I would absolutely love to be able to grow my own herbs and actually use them in my food on a daily basis.
¤ Lose 10 more pounds to reach goal weight
As I talked about recently, I was finally able to reach my Winter goal of losing 10 pounds. In order to reach my goal weight, I have 10 more pounds to go. I am really hoping I can reach that goal before my trip to Costa Rica (which is at the end of May), which I will surely spend the majority of time in a bikini.
¤ Have a picnic in the park
This is maybe a little corny, but the last time I had any sort of picnic I was probably about 10 years old with my parents and little sister at a botanical garden. There’s something so serene and “spring-y” about eating sandwiches and drinking wine in a park. Maybe I’ll get lucky and actually find a guy to do this with (ha ha ha…).
¤ Finish “Serial” and listen to other podcasts
I just recently started listening to “Serial” and it is the best thing ever. You absolutely need to listen to it (it’s a free podcast that you can download from iTunes), especially if you watched and loved “Making a Muderer” (this might honestly be better). I want to finish Season 1 by the end of the season and start looking at other podcasts as well. Any suggestions?
¤ Be more active on social media
I used to be so great at tweeting and posting pictures on Instagram, and I don’t know when I started getting lazy. Now that I’m blogging, I feel like I should start being much more active on these social media platforms. Feel free to check out my Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest! And let me know in the comments below if you follow me so I can make sure to check out your accounts.
¤ Complete Cosmo’s 28 day butt workout challenge
To go along with my mission to get fit and healthy, my friend showed me this challenge and I thought I would try and give it a go. I’ve always been a bit self-conscious about the lower half of my body and I think once I start targeting it in my workouts I’ll feel a lot better about it. Feel free to take a look at the challenge here!
¤ Explore nature around my apartment
I moved in the beginning of January and still haven’t really explored any parks or farms in the area. I really want to start doing that once it get’s nicer outside and I’ve had a couple friends already show me some places that I absolutely need to explore. Plus, nature always provides some awesome Instagram pictures.
