Product Reviews: St. Ives VoxBox

As I’ve said many times before, I have a tendency to have dry skin, and the winter months are never easy on me (especially regarding my face). I’ve tried many different products from body lotions to face moisturizers and I’m always looking to find new products. With that said, I was beyond excited when I came home to find a lovely box from Influenster filled with St. Ives goodies.

Up until now, I have actually never used any St. Ives products (although I have always heard good things), and I was really happy to see that I would have the opportunity to try out a body wash, hand & body lotion, and face scrub. Most of these products can be found at any department store (i.e. Target, Walmart) but you can also visit their website for more information.

The first product I received was the St. Ives Even & Bright Pink lemon & Mandarin Body Wash. It retails between $2.99-$4.89 (get it from Target here). I was a little hesitant about the scent at first glance but I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s so refreshing and citrusy, but also a bit sweet and flirty. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I can always smell it on my skin after the shower and it leaves me feeling fresh and clean. I also love how it’s exfoliating in a gentle way (I’ve had some exfoliating body washes that actually hurt to use and this one does not fall into that category). I think this is my favorite product that I received and I highly recommend it.

The next product I received was the St. Ives Refresh & Revive Pear Nectar & Soy Body Lotion. It retails for $4.99. Here I was again, hesitant about the smell (I’m usually a vanilla type of girl when it comes to body lotions) but I actually love the scent. I’ve dealt with overbearing pear scents before and this one had the perfect balance! It’s a great body lotion and does the job, but I have some other favorites so I will probably end up passing this on to someone who could use a new lotion.

The last product I received was the St. Ives Nourish & Sooth Oatmeal Scrub & Mask. It retails between $3.99 to $5.79 (get it from Target here). So the opposite happened with this product. I was expecting to love the smell but honestly, “oatmeal” is not a great scent. With that said, I still love the product. I’ve used it both as a scrub and a mask and it works amazingly in both forms. I’m also so impressed with how they’ve managed to make exfoliating products gentle on the skin. I highly, highly recommend this product! Especially if you’re looking for a solution for dry skin on your face (like me). It’s become part of my routine Monday nights during The Bachelor.

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried any other St. Ives products or if you have any favorites for the dry, colder months!

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
