My Monthly Must-Haves: October

This month has literally flown by and I can’t believe it’s over. It has been a beautiful and amazing October filled with so much fun. I have gone apple picking, pumpkin picking, attended a Pats game, bonded with my coworkers, replenished my fall wardrobe, and so much more. Here are some of the things that have been staples in my crazy every day life this month.

Netflix Binge of the Month: Jane the Virgin

Now, don’t get me wrong – I love my TV. But I finally got around to starting Jane the Virgin on Netflix and I am obsessed. It is a bit cheesy but it is hilarious and unpredictable and so good. I highly highly recommend watching it. I’m almost done with the first season which is great because the second season just recently started.

Book of the Month: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Okay so I have a confession. I have never read any of the Harry Potter books. My dad and sister are obsessed, my friends are as well, and so are my coworkers. By the time I actually wanted to read them I just never had the time. Now that I’m out of school I have finally come to the conclusion that I need to read them. And I already really enjoy them.

Makeup of the Month: Under-Eye Concealer

I mentioned in my must-haves from September that I started using a BB Cream (which I have now changed to a lighter shade as my summer tan is now completely gone) and I recently started using this (the Neutralizer shade) concealer that goes perfectly with it. I have horrible under eye circles and this works perfectly and is also great for covering small blemishes. And it’s a drugstore product, so it’s totally affordable.

Accessory of the Month: Black Wedge Booties

Both my friend and I bought these booties from Target (for only $35 mind you) and they literally go with everything whether it’s jeans and a shirt or a dress and tights. They are so comfy and easy to walk in and definitely one of my favorite purchases that I’ve made all month.

Candle of the Month: Pumpkin Carving

Okay so obviously I have mentioned before that my favorite candle this time of year is Pumpkin Apple but I recently stumbled upon this one from Bath & Body Works and it is perfect for this month (especially with the Halloween festivities coming up). It has the essence of pumpkin spice with a little bit of vanilla, making it sweet but not too overpowering and I am in love with it.
