My Monthly Must-Haves: November

This month has been one of the busiest I’ve had in a while and it is officially over. Work was crazy leading up to Thanksgiving and then the holidays made everything even crazier. I’ve found some awesome new products this month that I quickly became obsessed with, and I’ve also brought back a few things that have came in to play a lot for me this month.

Beauty Product of the Month: NYX Butter Lipsticks

Can I just say these lipsticks are amazing. And they are just $6 (at Target and Ulta)! They go on so smoothly, stay on for a while, and the range of colors are beautiful and true to the shade of the packaging (which is really helpful when you don’t want to open it in the store). When they say “butter” they mean it. They don’t dry your lips and are even a bit moisturizing. I have them in the shades Razzle and Sweet Tart and I am definitely going back to get more.

App of the Month: Audible

I talked about Audible a few months ago when I first started using it but now that I have been forced to deal with horrible rush hour traffic on my way to work every day, I am officially obsessed. The time literally flies by when I’m listening to a book in my car and a lot of times the book is read by the author (like Yes Please by Amy Poehler that I’m listening to right now) which makes it really enjoyable to listen to. I actually find myself sad once I get home because I have to unplug my phone from my car’s stereo. If you haven’t tried out Audible yet I highly suggest it, and your first month is free!

Health Tip of the Month: Sleep

It’s getting colder, people are getting sicker, and unfortunately for me, I’m one of them. Although I’m still dealing with it, I’ve been trying very hard this month to get my sleep (and will make sure to do so in the coming months). I am going to bed earlier and have been able to stay awake and alert at work and overall felt a lot better about my health (except for this week).

Home Decor of the Month: Cable-Knit Throws

I love these blankets. They are a perfect decoration for the colder weather and not to mention so comfy. I have been seeing them everywhere and finally caved and got one in the beginning of the month (on sale, luckily). I bought a red one from target that is similar to this grey one that I’m also obsessed with. You can never have too many blankets!

Accessory of the Month: Casetify Phone Case

I have been searching for a while for a phone case for my iPhone 6s that would protect it and still show off the rose gold of the phone because well it’s too pretty not to. I stumbled upon Casetify on Instagram. The company takes inspirations and drawings that others have created and turn them into cases for your iPhone. The variety is crazy and it took me a while to decide between so many but I fell in love with this one. You can get it too or just browse for your own case! They run for $40 but if you order today you get 30% off (for Cyber Monday).

If you missed last month’s must-haves, be sure to check it out here! I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for a not-too-cold December.
