My Monthly Must-Haves: December

Well it’s official, this year is coming to a close. Between the extremely warm weather, family troubles, and the realization of moving kicking in, it has been officially the weirdest December ever. Thanks to the holidays, I’ve gotten some new products I absolutely love and am trying to start some new habits for the new year.

Fragrance of the Month: YSL Black Opium

So I talked about this perfume before (click here for a more detailed review), and have been wearing it every day recently. It’s a very warm, bold fragrance which is perfect for this season and I think I might be obsessed. I still have a small size of this perfume and am definitely planning on using my gift cards to buy the full size.

Beauty Product of the Month: Mia 2 Skin Cleansing System

I have been lusting after a Clarisonic skin care tool and when my parents bought me one for Hanukkah I was so excited. I’ve been using it 2-3 times a week and have already noticed a difference in how hydrated and smooth my skin is. I highly suggest this product and will definitely do a more detailed review, so stay tuned for that!

Netflix Binge of the Month: The Office

This month has brought some tough times and I am so happy I started watching this show (I’m only on Season 3 so far). It’s brought a lot of laughs despite my mood. I know this is an oldie, and I have seen episodes here and there, but never watched the show from beginning to end and I’m excited to be able to do so!

App of the Month: Fitbit & My Fitness Pal

I made a pledge to myself this month to start a healthier lifestyle instead of putting it off until next year. I want to get a head-start on my New Year’s resolution so I’ve been trying to get into the habit of tracking my exercise and calorie intake. These two apps have been essential and they do a great job of integrating with each other, which I really appreciate.

Accessory of the Month: Tory Burch For Fitbit Metal Hinged Bracelet

To go along with my health goals, I’ve been wearing my Fitbit a lot more often. It’s not necessarily the most fashionable accessory, so I decided to splurge on this bracelet (it holds the tracker inside with a sturdy clasp). I think the bracelet is really beautiful and actually adds to my outfits, which makes me more inclined to actually wear the Fitbit and put it to good use!

December is over and I’m starting off January by moving into the apartment next week. Because of that, I can’t promise regularly scheduled posts for a bit, but I’ll do my best!

With that, cheers to 2015! It’s been an interesting year and I can’t wait to see what’s to come.
