Hi everyone! So you may have noticed my blog got a bit of a facelift… I’ve been searching for a new theme and saw this one, thought it was so cute, and decided it was worth the price. April has been a month of changes for me, my theme being one of them, and I can’t complain. I’m finally close to my goal weight, I’ve been doing a lot of research to improve my blog, and I’m starting the job search journey again (the worst process ever).
I have a lot of new products and habits this month that I’ve been loving, mostly lifestyle favorites, that I’m really excited to share with you all!
Nail Polish of the Month: Violet Voltage by Sally Hanson
I have been absolutely loving this purple nail polish. I usually choose purple for colder months, but this one has such a springy feel to it and was super bright and fun. I was actually pleasantly surprised with this, because I didn’t think Sally Hanson nail polishes were the best brand, but my nails stayed completely chip free for 3 days (which is a lot for me, as I tend to be kind of careless).
Accessory of the Month: Prada Sunglasses (PR 09SS)
These sunglasses are my babies. Prada has some of the best “glam” sunglassses and they are such great quality (I have an older pair from 3 years ago that are still going strong), well worth the price. The price is hefty, but these guys were kind of a reward to myself. I saw them in the store and fell in love, and I’m obsessed with the fading of the lenses and the thick black rim.
Health Tip of the Month: Munch on Healthy Snacks
This tip has been crucial for me this month. I love snacks – chips, cookies, chocolate, even cheese – especially when I’m working or watching TV. This past month I have really focused on replacing healthy snacks with fruit, veggies, and trail mix. I feel much less guilty about eating them and my body has really thanked me for it. Plus it doesn’t hurt that fruit is the perfect snack for this weather.
Candle of the Month: Small Tin Lavender Lemonade Candle
I love this candle. It smells so clean and fresh (a little like Pledge cleaner to be honest, but for some reason I really like the lemony-scent) with a hint of sweetness. It is perfect for the season. I’m almost running out and I need to go to Target ASAP to get another one (I have been eyeing it in this jar).
Lifestyle Product of the Month: Large Monthly Planner
I have had an Erin Condren planner, and don’t get me wrong, it’s great, but things get a little cluttered and there’s almost too much space in it for me. I love this calendar, especially because of the monthly view. It’s perfect for planning out blog posts and highlighting the holidays, and it’s super customizable, which makes it perfect for anyone. I don’t even remember how I found this company, but they have so many calendar choices and I will definitely get another when I go through this one!
